Because the assessment is real work: a full profile and eligibility review, a university shortlist, a document audit and an honest scholarship feasibility check, with a named advisor from that point on. It also filters out applications that were never going to succeed, which protects you more than it protects us. If you proceed within 30 days, the $150 comes off your fee in full, so you are not paying twice. If we find you are not admissible, you owe nothing further.

Three moments. The $150 assessment before work begins. A submission instalment when your application is actually filed: 40% of the fee on full-scholarship work, 50% otherwise, less your assessment credit. And a success instalment only when the award or admission letter is confirmed in writing. The estimator above shows the exact figures for your selection. Payment is by WeChat Pay, Alipay, bank transfer or Western Union, whichever works where you are.

Then the success instalment is never charged. You will have paid the assessment and the submission portion, which cover work actually performed. We think an agency should carry part of the risk it is asking you to take, and this is how we carry ours.

No, and neither can anyone else. Admission is decided by the university's committee, a scholarship by the university or the government scholarship authority, and a visa by the embassy. We prepare, file and chase your application to a professional standard, which changes what the committee sees, not who does the deciding. Any agency that promises otherwise is describing a power it does not have.

Applications to Chinese universities move through an application platform that charges ¥500 to open a file and ¥3,500 in service fees at our current agent tier — about $591 together at the 6.77 rate. Those charges exist whether or not an agency prints them. We print them, pass them through at cost, and if our platform tier improves, the reduction is passed to you too.

If we miss an agreed submission deadline for a reason within our control, your submission instalment is refunded in full. If a deadline is missed because a document you were responsible for was not ready, or a request from us waited more than five working days, no refund arises. We will have warned you in writing the moment the deadline was at risk. Deadlines in this sector are hard and unforgiving, which is why response time is written into the agreement on both sides.

The universities you have approved and the application platform, because that is how an application is filed. Nobody else without your written consent, unless the law requires it. Your name, photo and results stay out of our marketing unless you separately agree in writing, and you are free to refuse. After the engagement ends you can ask for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete it.

Yes, with a parent or legal guardian co-signing the agreement and a guardian authorisation in your document file. The guardian accepts joint responsibility for the obligations under it, which is standard for this sector and protects everyone involved.
